Wayang golek puppet: Adipati Karna
Karna is a great hero from the Mahabharata and wayang. He is the illegitimate son of Dewi Kunti and Batara Surya, but is abandoned at birth and raised by a coachman. As a result, he grows up unaware of his royal lineage. Later, he becomes a mighty warrior and is given the title of Adipati. Karna is known as a noble but tragic hero caught between his heritage, honour and loyalty.
