Wayang golek puppet: Sugriwa (Raya), the king of the monkeys and the younger brother of Subali. After Rama helped him regain his throne and wife from Subali, he became an indispensable ally. He provided his enormous monkey army to Rama to wage war against Rahwana and rescue Sinta.

Anggada is the red-haired son of Subali and Dewi Tara and a young prince of the monkey kingdom Guwakiskenda. He serves as one of the commanders of Rama’s monkey army in the battle against Rahwana. Although he is briefly deceived by Rahwana, he ultimately remains a brave and loyal ally of Rama.
