Balinese wood carvings Tualen & Merdah

Rare set Balinese woodcarvings of the characters Tualen and Merdah. The 2 statues were made by late Mastercarver I Wayan Pudja (+2020) in the first half of the 20th Century.

Tualen (34 cm) has a mall nose, Merdah (30 cm) has a big nose. Even the bottom of the statues are marvelously carved and signed by the artist.
